Thaddeus Nowinski, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Scranton and Jefferson Medical College. He completed an internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and his residency at Wills Eye Hospital. He pursued additional fellowship training at the University of Utah to be specially trained in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Nowinski is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Colleen Christian, M.D. is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center and her fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She is an examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Association, Philadelphia County Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Melissa R. Sieber, MD is a graduate of Gettysburg College where she majored in physics with special interest in the medical applications of lasers. She graduated magna cum laude with membership in Phi Beta Kappa along with multiple other honor societies. Dr. Sieber obtained her MD at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. She spent her intern year at Medstar Harbor Hospital where she was awarded “Intern of the Year.” She completed her ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where she was elected chief resident in her final year. Dr. Sieber continues to be a member of the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service at Wills Eye Hospital and serves on faculty at Abington Lansdale Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Sieber is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with specialty in refractive and cataract surgery. She also performs microinvasive glaucoma surgeries, LASIK and PRK, in addition to Botox and other cosmetic procedures. Her specific interests are with advanced intraocular lenses, such as those that correct for both near and far vision in addition to those that correct for astigmatism.

Geoffrey P. Schwartz M.D. is a graduate of Bowdoin College, Columbia University and Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and his glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute In Miami, Florida. Wills Eye Hospital and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute have been ranked in the top 3 of the nation’s best Ophthalmology Hospitals in the US News & World Report each year since the rankings were first published in 1990. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has published several book chapters on glaucoma as well as multiple articles on Ophthalmology in peer reviewed Journals. He lectures locally and nationally on glaucoma to fellow physicians and patients. He is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He is on the medical staff of the Montgomery Surgery Center, Abington Lansdale Hospital and the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Hospital, where he teaches residents and medical students. He is a surgeon in the Department of Glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Schwartz’s special areas of interest are in the medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma, as well as cataract and intraocular lens surgery.

Robert Gladnick, O.D. graduated from Pennsylvania’s College of Optometry and obtained his undergraduate degree from Philadelphia College of Textile and Science with a B.S. degree in Life Sciences. He is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Dr. Gladnick has lectured on optics and contact lenses. While Dr. Gladnick is a general optometrist, his special interest is contact lens fittings, including disposables, bifocals and astigmatism contact lenses.
